IndusInd Bank Appoints Independent Agency to Investigate Derivatives Portfolio Discrepancy

IndusInd Bank has appointed an independent firm to identify the exact cause of the discrepancies found in the derivatives portfolio.

The independent firm will assess the accuracy and impact of the accounting treatment of the derivatives contract. The firm will also rectify possible lapses and conclude accountability for discrepancies.

On March 10, IndusInd Bank reported discrepancies in its derivatives portfolio to the tune of ₹1600 crore.
